I was reading an article in Men’s Journal that talked about how good fresh juice is for you, so I picked up spinach this morning thinking that maybe my husband could add some greens to his protein shakes. I thought I would give it a whirl first and make a shake of my own to have with some cheese for a snack. But then I did a Target run and there was a Taco Bell across the street and I was starving and well…I hadn’t tried the new Dorito Locos Tacos Supreme! I don’t think I’ve had fast food since last Summer, so it was about time. Oh my was that taco scrumptious! Anyways, I still wanted to try the spinach in something so I went for a pineapple spinach juice instead. I did a simpler version of this recipe. It turned our really nice and frothy.
1 cup pineapple (I used Trader Joe’s frozen and microwaved it a little because I didn’t want a smoothy)
2 handfulls spinach
Squeeze of honey
1 cup cold water
- Throw it all in a blender!
