They were so delicate and puffy! Serve with butter, jam, lemon curd, or eat them plain!<\/p>\n<p>I mixed up these two\u00a0recipes (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.throughherlookingglass.com\/best-popover-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chewoutloud.com\/2015\/04\/15\/perfect-popovers\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>) and the combination worked perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>1 cup whole milk<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n3 tablespoons of butter<br \/>\n1 cup flour<br \/>\n1\/4\u00a0teaspoon salt<br \/>\nPinch baking soda<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1493061068229_7493\">Warm 1 cup milk to a little more than room temp (I used the microwave). Put 2 eggs in a bowl of warm\/hot water to bring them to room temp (or leave them out overnight).\u00a0Melt 3 tablespoons butter.<\/li>\n<li id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1493061068229_7491\">Put milk, eggs, 1 tablespoon of the butter and salt in the blender and whip until frothy.\u00a0Add flour and blend for a couple of minutes.\u00a0Add a pinch of baking soda and blend for just a second to mix.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oven to 425 degrees. Let the batter sit while the oven heats.<\/li>\n<li id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1493061068229_7475\">Pour remaining butter evening into popover pan and place in oven for a couple of minutes.\u00a0Take out, pour batter evenly into pan and place in oven for 15 minutes.\u00a0Reduce heat to 350 and bake for another 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"social-likes social-likes_notext\" data-title=\"Super Light and Puffy Popovers\" data-url=\"https:\/\/mayabugs.com\/blog\/super-light-and-puffy-popovers\/\" data-counters=\"yes\"><div class=\"facebook\" title=\"Share link on Facebook\"><\/div><div class=\"plusone\" title=\"Share link on Google+\"><\/div><div class=\"twitter\" data-via=\"mayabugs\" title=\"Share link on Twitter\"><\/div><div class=\"pinterest\" title=\"Share image on Pinterest\" data-media=\"http:\/\/mayabugs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/puffy-popovers.jpg\"><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Look at the height on these popovers!
