I made homemade BBQ sauce and gave it a Mexican twist by adding\u00a0<a title=\"Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce\" href=\"http:\/\/mayabugs.com\/blog\/store-bought-ingredients\/chipotle-peppers-in-adobo-sauce-ranchera-verde-salsas\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce<\/a>,\u00a0cumin, and oregano, but to make these tacos up really fast, you could use bottled BBQ sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Young green jackfruit in the can be found at Indian and Asian markets. If you can&#8217;t find it, substituting seitan (found at Whole Foods) would work well too!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pickled Red Cabbage<br \/>\n<\/span>2 cups red cabbage shredded<br \/>\n2 tablespoons vinegar and\/or lemon\/lime juice<br \/>\nFresh ground pepper<br \/>\nPinch salt<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mix all ingredients together while cooking the other ingredients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Mexican Influenced BBQ Sauce<\/span><br \/>\n1\/2 cup ketchup<br \/>\n1\/4 cup apple cider vinegar<br \/>\n1\/4 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1 teaspoon liquid smoke (I used hickory)<br \/>\n2 teaspoon onion powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon garlic powder<br \/>\n3 Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce<strong><\/strong><br \/>\n1 teaspoon cumin powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon oregano<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or blender.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jackfruit Tacos<\/span><br \/>\n1 can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00CQAFU0W\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B00CQAFU0W&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=mayabugs-20\" rel=\"nofollow\">young green jackfruit<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=mayabugs-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00CQAFU0W\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0drained and shredded<br \/>\nMexican influenced BBQ sauce or your favorite bottled sauce<br \/>\n6 Corn tortillas<br \/>\nOlive oil spray<br \/>\nPickled red cabbage<br \/>\n1 ripe avocado cut into junks and salted<br \/>\n4 ounces queso fresco or cotija cheese crumbled<br \/>\nCilantro chopped<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a small pan mix the jackfruit and BBQ sauce together with a little water and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or so.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Spray corn torillas with olive oil spray and cook over an open flame until soft.
