This is a traditional caesar salad dressing minus the anchovies. Egg yolk is whipped up with a few other ingredients and then olive oil is drizzled in and whisked creating a creamy and tangy caesar dressing. This recipe is adapted from Wolfgang Puck’s recipe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Instead of having a caesar salad with this dressing, we made caesar toasts to go with vegetarian pasta carbonara<\/span><\/a>. Just spread the caesar dressing on bread, top with a little cheese, and broil…<\/p>\n

1 egg yolk
\n2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
\n1\/8 teaspoon vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
\n1 teaspoon mustard
\n1 garlic clove minced
\n1\/8 teaspoon red chili flakes
\nSalt
\nPepper
\n1\/2 cup olive oil<\/p>\n

  1. Whisk together the egg yolk, lemon juice, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, mustard,\u00a0garlic, red chili flakes, salt and pepper.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. While whisking really fast, drizzle in the olive oil as slowly as possible to emulsify the olive oil.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
