It is Sunday morning and suddenly I feel the need to start a food blog. It didn\u2019t really start out that way. I got up, struggled through a workout video (I had a little wine last night), put milk in the milk foamer, showered, had my latte, and started looking up recipes for this Maharashtran dish called\u00a0misal pav, my new recipe to tackle. Then I\u2019m not sure what happened, but I started looking up how this blogging thing works, what is the etiquette of recipe blogging, can I just add a blog thingy to my old picture site, and so on.<\/p>\n

A couple of hours later I sit here with a cut finger from peeling my finger along with a potato, I have tindora cooking in a little oil trying to burn itself despite my best efforts, I\u2019m looking up my my mother in law\u2019s Gujarati dal recipe, and I\u2019ve started to peel potatoes because of a sudden craving for potato upma which I have never heard of but ran into on my misal search.<\/p>\n

And I\u2019m typing this\u2026<\/p>\n

I like to think that I am an excellent multi-tasker. But really, that is just not the case. With all these things going at once, it is no wonder that I am bleeding, burning things, and starving!<\/p>\n

Anyhow, I did finally start the blog and finish the 3 dishes!<\/p>\n
