Think Chinese style food, but a little more strongly flavored. Hakka noodles, gobi manchurian, and chili paneer are a few dishes that come to mind. There is this restaurant in Bangalore called Mainland China that is fantastic!<\/p>\n<p>I adapted <a title=\"Show Me the Curry Indo Chinese Noodles\" href=\"http:\/\/showmethecurry.com\/fusion\/chinese-noodles.html\" target=\"_blank\">Show Me the Curry&#8217;s recipe for these noodles<\/a>\u00a0for my recipe.They cook really fast so it is best to get all your ingredients ready to go first.<\/p>\n<p>2 garlic cloves minced<br \/>\n1 inch ginger minced<br \/>\n2 carrots cut into matchsticks<br \/>\n1 green bell pepper sliced<br \/>\n1 onion sliced<br \/>\n~10 baby corns sliced\u00a0lengthwise<br \/>\n2 cups cabbage sliced<br \/>\n3 green onions sliced<br \/>\n5 tablespoons soy sauce<br \/>\n3 tablespoons vinegar<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tablespoons hoisin sauce<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tablespoons ketchup<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tablespoons sambal oelek<br \/>\n1 teaspoon white pepper<br \/>\n1 teaspoon oil<br \/>\n3 eggs scrambled with a little salt<br \/>\n8oz wheat noodles (I used dried pancit noodles, but you could use a variety of wheat noodles, such as fresh chinese wheat noodles, hakka, etc.)<br \/>\nSesame oil<br \/>\n2 tablespoons oil<br \/>\nSalt<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Prep all your vegetables.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl (soy sauce through white pepper).<\/li>\n<li>Scramble your eggs and add a little oil to a large skillet making a very thin omelet. Remove omelet from pan, roll into a tube and slice in thin strips.<\/li>\n<li>Cook the noodles according to the package directions. The pancit noodles just needs a couple of minutes in boiling water. Drain and toss with a little sesame oil.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a large wok.<\/li>\n<li>Add garlic and ginger and cook for a few seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Add carrots and cook for a couple of minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the bell pepper and continue to cook for a couple minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the onions and continue to cook for couple of minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the baby corn.<\/li>\n<li>Once the veggies are all tender crisp, add that cabbage.<\/li>\n<li>Once the cabbage has barely wilted add in the eggs.<\/li>\n<li>Push everything over the side of the wok and add the sauce to the bottom of the wok so it can heat through.<\/li>\n<li>Add the noodles and toss everything together.<\/li>\n<li>Top with green onions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the things that surprised me on my first trip to India was that there was Indianized Chinese food everywhere!
