Raita is an Indian condiment made of yogurt and other various ingredients.This raita uses thinly sliced green chilis, toasted cumin and cilantro. The green chilis give it such a wonderful taste. If you are someone who can’t handle as much spice and use raita to tone down the spice, this is not the recipe for you! This is so good served with paneer makhani, spicy on spicy!
1 cup yogurt (or yogurt with enough water to make one cut of raita)
2 green chilis thinly sliced
1 teaspoon cumin seeds freshly toasted
- Stir green chilis and a pinch of salt into yogurt.
- Right before serving mix in the cumin and the cilantro.
